Al Mourouj Inn Hotel is proud to announce the opening of it’s multi cuisine restaurant – “Sahara”. Sahara provides great dining options to the residents of the hotel as well as the many offices and business houses in the area. The dishes represent the migrant flavour of cuisines throughout the Middle East bringing together aromatic, fresh and innovative recipes.

Al Mourouj Inn hotel is located beside the famous Qatar National Museum on Old Salatah, Museum Street. The charming new restaurant is located on the ground floor of the hotel with independent access to the main road.

“We wanted diners to have a cozy, casual and relaxed dining experience” says manager Mr. Nilam Zainulabdeen. The interiors are designed to give guests an intimate feeling with decorative plants cascading from the windows adding to the charm and making one feel “at home”. The cheerful wooden tables and chairs neatly laid out with beige placements complement the décor and can accommodate upto 48 guests.

Chef Ayub Hariri brings his mastery to the cuisine backed by over 30 years of experience in different regions of the Middle East. “Diners are indeed spoilt for choice with the appetizing array of irresistible cuisines” says Mr. Nilam.

A la carte menu offerings include a selection of Arabic, Indian and Mediterranean delicacies. Entrées feature sizzling Lamb Koftas, Kebabs, Escalops and the best seller - Chicken Tikka setting the perfect tone to the start of your “Sahara” experience. A selection of soups and gourmet salads provide healthy appetizer options. Middle Eastern and Indian cuisines offer Lamb Machboos, Lamb or Chicken Biryani, Lamb Stew, Dijaj Mashwi and other delectable dishes. The continental kitchen specializes in crisp, crumbed, Fried Fish, Grilled Chicken with herbs and a Beef Tenderloin Steak. Finally end your meal with a selection of divine desserts like the Mouhalabieh , the Rose Bahalib and the Umm Ali.
